COVID-19 Update

Dear Patients

We suspect many of you are as amazed by everything going on around us as we are. Certainly, this is an unsettling series of events that we look forward to putting in our distant memory.

We have been working diligently through intensive sterilization techniques to continue to care for you, our patients. However, based on recommendations from the CDC and local health departments, we have decided to cease all routine eye care services. We will close the office to patients at the end of the workday on Friday, March 12th. We plan to operate this way until at least Monday, April 6th. We will re-evaluate at that time to see what the situation will allow.

Drs. Koop and Martinek will still be available for ocular emergencies. We will do our best to handle all issues by telemedicine. Please avoid the emergency room as we do not want to overburden the Emergency Department at this time.

We will still be in the office regularly, so if you have needs with contacts or glasses, please call and leave a message and we will get back to you. We will do whatever we can to find a solution for you. Thank you for your trust in us, and we wish you and your family continued health during this time.

Sincerely,
Tim Koop O.D.
Angela Martinek O.D.

As the year comes to a close, we would like to express our gratitude for our patients and wish you a holiday season filled with love, peace, and cherished moments.
